OUR
BREEDS
NAIDs® are highly intelligent, versatile, enjoy
extended longevity, and are hypoallergenic*. They are
exceptional family companions. They enjoy the
companionship of another dog especially when
socialized properly. They are a northern based breed
that can be stubborn and require ample socialization.
NAIDs have a strong pack mentality and love to be
with their family. However, they do require a strong
pack leader and continuous training. We recommend
puppy training classes and plenty of exercise. If bored
they can be destructive. These are a great breed of
companion dogs!

STORY
It all began with a girl named Meeka...
Many of you may wonder why Mainely NAIDs was created. It all began with this sweet face.
This is our companion Meeka. We were looking for a larger dog with a longer lifespan and
stumbled across the NAID. My husband had always dreamed of being loved by a Siberian Husky
(but calmer) so we had found the best of everything wrapped into 1 adorable package. She was
the runt of the litter but these days she is weighing in around 90-95lbs. From here we obtained
our foundation breeding dogs. We have owned many dogs and many different breeds over the
years. I also bred Doberman Pinschers years back. We are a fur loving family and wanted to get
back into breeding so we could share this amazing breed with others!!! Meeka stole our hearts
and others deserve to experience this kind of undying love <3 Our breeding focus is on
maintaining top health and wonderful temperaments. We have also begun our NAID
preservation project to continue with this goal.
